By Plane
If you're planning to fly into Anaheim, there are several airports, both international and regional, to choose from.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) — LAX is one of the largest airports in the world. If you're flying in from out of the country or from a regional city, you're most likely to find a flight to LAX. You'll find a plethora of car rentals near the airport, in addition to taxis and ride shares to Anaheim if you prefer not to drive.
John Wayne Airport - Orange County (SNA) — John Wayne Airport is located in Santa Ana, California, just 20 minutes from Anaheim. Most major airlines fly in and out of SNA. If you're not renting a car, you can find taxis and shuttles to Anaheim.
Long Beach Airport (LBG) — Long Beach Airport is the smallest of the three area airports. That means it's generally not busy! And, there are still car rentals, taxis, and shuttles just like the other airports.
By Train & Bus
The Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) is a hub for both trains and buses. You can find Amtrak, Metrolink, Greyhound, Megabus, Orange County Transportation, and more at this location. And, ARTIC is conveniently located next to Angels Stadium downtown.
In and Around Anaheim
If you're planning to visit Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, the various stadiums and convention centers, or other popular Anahim attractions, we recommend taking advantage of the Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) system. The buses have low fares and convenient routes. Ride-sharing apps (like Uber and Lyft) are available within Anaheim, and there are taxi and shuttle services as well.
If you drove to Anaheim or are renting a car, most of the theme parks have parking lots, though they can become quite crowded. We recommend using public transportation when possible. However, it's easy to drive in and out of the city, as most of our vacation rental properties have parking spots — just check the property's detail page!
