Overall great stay for our active family of 5. Tons of space and good management communication. Nothing really to walk to but easy to drive everywhere. The pool and games in the garage were a huge plus. Only negative was that the finishes in the house felt older and tired and could use an upgrade.

It was a very fun and comfortable house. We loved coming back to swim or relax in the hot tub after long days at Disney and the beach. Instructions on everything were clear, it was very clean and up to date, and it had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our visit to this home. The flooring is new, and the living room furniture is new. I don't understand the negative reviews. The kids loved the water slide and the pool. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We met one of the neighbors, very friendly. It's close to Disneyland, restaurants and stores. Valerie was very professional and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely come back again.

The house was clean, and the beds were comfy. The slide for the pool makes the whole experience perfect. The property manager was prompt in handling any small issue ( pool works with remote, never used anything like that). They had pool/beach towels and most things you would need to cook and hang for 7 days.
House was super close to Disney & was centrally located to so many other places. We would totally rent again!!

It was hard contacting the property owner if you have questions. When I got there there was some Hispanics working on the property the first day we got there, Isd the property owner she returned my call somewhat quickly was oblivious too what I was talking about! I normally don’t leave reviews unless necessary, and this is necessary. We are giving this a 2 star, the best part about the home was the pool and the location of the home. Firstly, the photos are very very deceiving. The couches, dining tables and dining chairs were completely different than the photos; they were older dirtier looking couches and tables. In fact, everything but the pool and 1 bathroom were old and outdated. The first day we arrived, there was a very big cockroach dying in the kitchen! It immediately made us feel uncomfortable about the cleanliness of the rest of the house. Both of the blue couches were dirty so we had to wash extra sheets we found from the hallway closets and put them over the couch so that we can actually sit on them. The dining table had no seat covers and the extra white table (not shown in listing) was so fragile, we barely wanted to use it because we felt like it was going to break. Even though the amenities did not say there was a fireplace.. the photos showed a nice cozy fireplace and while we didn’t rent the home because of the fireplace, this is what I mean by the photos really should be updated to better reflect the CURRENT look of the home. The kitchen was outdated as well, the stove took so long to heat up so the food we would prepare took forever to cook. The master bedroom with the pullout couch had no vents and/or the sliding door was held together basically by tape because of the AC unit so it wasn’t closed all the way and made that room extremely cold! We stayed here the second week of November and the weather outside was in the 60s so normally we wouldn’t need the heat on but we had to turn up the heat in order to get that room warm but it never did. It just made the rest of the house super hot. The pullout mattress needs to be replaced, it dented in and was very uncomfortable. The bathroom shower in the master bedroom was disappointing because it was really small and outdated. Both bat

We had a lot of fun staying here. The slide was a bonus. Only thing that sucked was having to stay in after 10 pm but the bonus room in the garage was lots of fun and kept the kids distracted.

This home had all the necessities. It was spotless. The backyard was an oasis. The walk to Disneyland was About 30 minutes through quiet streets. I would recommend this home to anyone!

1. I was contacted stating they needed more money to keep my reservation.
2. The kitchen cookware was old and I could not cook a turkey which I emailed and asked if there were supplies and were told there were.
3. The furniture was different, in the add it showed a lot of seating in the living areas, the dinning room was replaced with cheap furniture.
4. The pool worked the first day. The spa never did. The pool heater didn't work.
5. When I reached out to the people/owner no one responded.
6. the oven was left on broil when we arrived it was very hot in the house and the towel was left on the oven handle, which I'm surprised it didn't catch on fire. If we had not arrived that night...??
7. The free standing air conditioner in the bedroom smelled like old wet moldy almost like urine.
8. The dishwasher did not clean or dry the dishes.
9. The windows were very dirty, I was looking forward to the sunshine..sorry about it.not so much.

We stayed at the happy daze rental and although the house was a bit run down, it was clean and had everything we needed. The pool/slide and patio area was the favourite! My kids were hardly out of the pool! It was perfect for our vacation to be able to feel at home and have more space then staying at a hotel! It was wonderful!

It was a good stay that was able to accomplish our group of 11 comfortably. Missing a stopper for the sink and a dish cloth. One hair dryer didn’t work well a, the coffee maker needs to be descaled and the dishwasher didn’t always finish a cycle. Kids loved the pool and slide

The home was very clean and warming. The beds were unbelievably comfy! Helped out a ton when you have been on your feet all day! The pool was both my grandbabies (age 7 and 2) highlight. After pool time, sat by the fire making smores and talking about the day and what to do next. Disney fireworks are literally in plain sight from the front yard. Didn't want to leave. Thank you for restoring our faith in renting vacation homes. Your home is beautiful and well taken care of! Everything we could have possibly needed was ready and available for our use.

The house is a bit run down but was acceptable. The hot water is not very hot and takes a while to get hot at the very back bedroom. The pool and slide were a terrific hit with the Grandchildren. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay and we did not have any issues. The host was very prompt in answering questions.

Great location, too far for our group to walk but very close to the parking garage - for $25/day you can leave & re-enter at no extra cost, so being close enough to be able take a mid-day break at this home was great! The house was a great setup for our family of six. There are two master suites, and the portable ac for the addition works fine if you leave it on. We all loved the pool and the kids enjoyed the game room in the garage. The pool/spa remote is not difficult to understand and the WiFi worked great for us. Nice location too!

The layout of the house worked very well for our family, the configuration of the bedrooms and the nice large dining table. Absolutely LOVED the pool!!! The outside area and natural gas grill and firepit were great, very nice! Convenient location to Disney.

We had family gathered here for my 65th birthday. The description was totally accurate, and the curb appeal of the home was even better than expected. The home was simply furnished, but clean. My family and I stayed here from 11/16/16 to 11/2/16. It was a wonderful experience. There were 10 of us and all were comfortable. Disney was very close so were beaches. My grandchildren loved the pool! It was so nice for us to all sit outside and enjoy having the area all to ourselves verses a hotel where you share,very relaxing. The house was everything the description said it was. Valerie was great, I tend to stress over small things but she had no problem answering any questions I had. Huntington Beach / Newport Beach: 35-40 min
Los Angeles: 45-60 min

The home is in decent shape, but it is a rental. There are some loose screws and rough paint jobs, but nothing that really negatively impacted our stay.

All the beds in the house were comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, and the outdoor area was great. The pool is surprisingly deep! (Don't pay extra to heat the pool if you are staying in the summer, it will stay plenty warm)

We kept a pretty busy schedule and as such, never personally interacted with Valerie, so I can't comment on that part of it. Overall, the house fit our needs well, it was clean, centrally located, and offered a great night's sleep. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

We had a fantastic stay here. Valerie is very quick to reply to any questions or queries we had. The house is exactly as described. The pool area is fantastic!! And along with the games room kept my children, and adults alike entertained while at the house.
The house is well equipped for home cooking, and also has a great variety of places to eat out locally.

We had a wonderful stay here. Lovely house with plenty of space for 9 of us. Less than 10 mins dive to Disneyland, a few minutes to supermarkets etc. Could watch fireworks from front yard. A few problems, all resolved immediately by friendly maintenance tech. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed staying at Valerie's Rental. Valerie herself kept in contact and was very responsive. The house was clean and had everything we needed when we arrived. We were all comfortable, which says a lot for a rental. There were plenty of towels and toiletries. The location is great and within walking distance to Disneyland through the Downtown Disney side(about a 30 minute walk). The neighborhood was safe and everyone seemed nice. There are plenty of restaurants near by. The game room was a nice addition and it was great to have a washer and dryer. The pool was also wonderful as was the backyard. You do have to pay a heating fee for use of the pool, which also includes use of the waterfall, so you are sort of required to pay it. I would preferred everything to be included for whatever the rate is. The master bedroom doesn't have central air so when we arrived it was VERY hot in that one room. We plugged in the mini A/C unit and it was very cold after several hours and stayed that way. you would have to leave the bathroom door open to make sure that it stayed somewhat cool in there. It would have been nice to have the mini a/c already running prior to our check in. There also aren't a lot of plugs in the bedrooms as there are no ceiling fans or ceiling lights. So you have lamps to light the rooms, then you have to plug in your cell phones etc, so you just have to move them around the house to get everything plugged in. Some of the plugs themselves would actually detach from the wall as you were unplugging items. The house has been remodeled to a certain extend, but not all details were finished. The A/C for the rest of the house was excellent. There is also a tankless water heater so we NEVER ran out of hot water which was amazing with several families sharing one house. All in all, we liked the house and it worked for our group.

The pool, waterslide and spa are nicer than described as there are small waterfall water-features on either side of the waterslide and we found that the water was always sparkling clear. Some pool toys are provided. We brought our own lifejacket for the little guy which was a good thing as the pool is very deep near the waterslide. The pool and spa heater is very capable so the pool was comfortable (end of January) and the spa was nice and hot. Also outdoors is a large gas fire pit which was nice to sit around in the evenings.

Valerie and Linda were very helpful, always answered the phone, and helped us out with a couple of extra requests. This house was very clean and mostly updated. Yard maintenance people tend to the outdoor areas weekly as well as a pool maintenance person weekly. The only area that could be updated a little better is the in-suite bathroom of the larger bedroom, but everything was functional. The kitchen is large and we found everything that we needed to cook.

The house was everything the description said it was. Valerie was great, I tend to stress over small things but she had no problem answering any questions I had. I would highly recommend Valeries Vacation Rentals to anyone. In any future trips I will definitely try to rent from Valerie again!

My family and I stayed here from 11/16/16 to 11/2/16. It was a wonderful experience. There were 10 of us and all were comfortable. Disney was very close so were beaches. My grandchildren loved the pool! It was so nice for us to all sit outside and enjoy having the area all to ourselves verses a hotel where you share,very relaxing. The description was totally accurate, and the curb appeal of the home was even better than expected. The home was simply furnished, but clean. It was a great set up for a family with small children, as our little ones were thrilled with the bunk beds, and the open living room and kid table. The pool and spa area absolutely made the house.

We were a family made up of two 19 yr olds, a 16 yr olf, 11 yr old and 6, as well as their parents. This was our major two week vacation of the year and it was something we had planned over a long period of time. The house and pool provided us with a great base to explore Sol Cal as well as the opportunity to take some time to enjoy the sun and pool.

The location was fantastic ideal for Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Disney and many more of the places to see. The configuration of the house was ideal as was the outstanding outdoor facilities. The kids loved the pool, the parents loved the hot tub, fire pit and evening meals cooked on the back.

Valerie was prompt and responded to all questions including prompt payment of the deposit back to us.

A great vacation, so many memories from whale watching to simply enjoying breakfast overlooking stunning Crystal Cove.

We would love to be back, I would book through Valerie when we do.

The house is located only a few minute drive from Disneyland. Disneyland fireworks can be viewed each night from the house. Kids absolutely loved the awesome heated pool and spa. We had two families living in the house and the 2 masters were at seperate ends of the house which makes for a great layout. Wifi in the house. Cable T.v. Games room for the kids.

This house was one of the best parts of our week! The kids were asking to stay "home" most days from doing things (Disney, shopping) because they wanted to play in the pool. The pool, waterslide and spa are nicer than described as there are small waterfall water-features on either side of the waterslide and we found that the water was always sparkling clear. Some pool toys are provided. We brought our own lifejacket for the little guy which was a good thing as the pool is very deep near the waterslide. The pool and spa heater is very capable so the pool was comfortable (end of January) and the spa was nice and hot. Also outdoors is a large gas fire pit which was nice to sit around in the evenings.

Valerie and Linda were very helpful, always answered the phone, and helped us out with a couple of extra requests. This house was very clean and mostly updated. Yard maintenance people tend to the outdoor areas weekly as well as a pool maintenance person weekly. The only area that could be updated a little better is the in-suite bathroom of the larger bedroom, but everything was functional. The kitchen is large and we found everything that we needed to cook.

This house is located on a fairly quiet street. We could sort of see the Disney fireworks from the front lawn, and you can definitely hear them.

We would love to stay in this house again.
